(Most of this is adapted from the Faith rules in THE INQUISITION)

Faith may be in any religion, it is, at its core, a belief in a greater power that influences us all. Allowed faiths have been the standard Christian, Wiccan, and Satanism. The religion MUST flow from an established belief structure. I.E., it cannot come from a cult or some religion just made up. Without that established belief structure, Faith lacks the power to influence the world.

What can Faith do?

Vampires: A Faithholder may roll his faith against the WP of the Vampire. The number of successes indicate the number of YARDS a Kindred is driven back. As well, the number of successes is added to the difficulty of any rolls the Kindred attempts to make at the Faithholder after being driven back. (e.g. I force Jonah the evil but dashing vamp back, rolling 3 successes. He decides to shoot me, the diff of his roll is +3.)
Why is this?
- The Faith continues to operate after the Kindred is driven back, KEEPING the Kindred back. As such, any attempt by the Kindred to act upon the Faithholder forces them to confront that Faith directly again.

Healing:
- Once an IC Month a Faithholder may attempt to draw on their faith and heal someone. They roll their dice vs. a 6 difficulty if the person to be healed is of their faith, an 8 diff if not. Each success equals a health level healed, whether agg or normal. After any attempt to heal, the Faithholder will be exhausted and must rest.(-4 to all actions until they rest.). It also requires a willpower roll at a difficulty of 10 minus the level of the faith. As well it costs a WP..

Miracles:
- Once a Faithholder achieves a level of 6 in faith, they are capable of performing miracles. What is a miracle? Well, it nothing short of the intercession of their deity in the natural or unnatural laws operating. Difficulty will float between 8 or 10 based on what is being asked for. The faith-holder will roll their dice and with 3 successes will achieve the essence of what they are asking. Less or more will adjust as needed. This will mostly be left to the judges discretion. Miracle attempts must be kept track of, a Faithholder will have only as many attempts as they have levels of faith. (Note Holy Ground may be used to get to the level 6 needed, but only once per PC.

Holy Ground:
- Certain places are repositories of faith. As such a Faithholder (of that faith only) my add that to his total when attempting to draw on their faith. Holy Ground itself will only deter infernal creatures. Kindred may walk on it provided their humanity is higher than the level of faith in the building.

Garou:
- Garou are for the most part not affected by Faith. What can be affected is Rage. A peaceful type religion (all Judeo-Christian ones, wicca, etc..) may roll their faith vs. the Garou WP and increase the difficulty by the # of succ rolled on all rage rolls, bring a Garou out of frenzy (provided they roll as many successes as the garou's rage), or temporarily suppress the Rage of the Garou (1 pt. per success).
  People from non-peaceful or evil religions. (Satanism, Norse faiths etc.....) will have the opposite effect. They can force a Garou INTO Frenzy, and their actions work against Gnosis.

Blessings:
- Faithholders may bless a person, with minor effects. The Faithholder rolls their faith vs. 7 (if the subject to be blessed is of their faith) or 9 otherwise. The number of successes indicate the possible effects (protection for damage, willpower boosts etc.). A Faithholder may bless one person per level of their faith per scene.

Numina policy

Beginning Costs:
- 7 freebies or 10 XP for the first level. Costs are DOUBLE to learn another Numina path at chargen and 1/2 again (i.e. 15 XP) to learn afterwards. Each level bought entitles you to one ritual. Unless otherwise noted in the WW books, you will need to use a ritual to accomplish anything with Numina. This is the equivalent of their spell books. Rituals cost 3 XP per level.

Advancement.
- Levels cost, as per the books, 7X the current level, but you may not advance beyond the third level unless....
  1. You have and intelligence of the same value as the level you are learning.
  2. You have an IC teacher with that level to teach you OR.
  3. You have the mentor/ally background at that appropriate level. This is the same for rituals.
  4. You MUST purchase the Occult Library background.
  5. To advance from level 3 to 4 should take no less than 6 IC years, and to advance from 4 to 5, should take no less than 15 IC years, if ever. This is more a guideline than a rule, but it should illustrate the point that most master magicians are more than a little gray.

Rolling Dice and Willpower:
- All Numina rituals require a roll (refer to the books for the specifics), but regardless each one will require the expenditure of a WP point.

Psychic Stuff:
- In many ways the rules for Psychic Powers are the same as Numina, with the exceptions being no need for the Occult Library and no need for rituals to the degree that Numinoids have them.

Additional Notes: All PCs will have to abide by these rules, even those already IC. The primary source system for this is Ascensions Right Hand. MAGE rules beyond that are NOT to be used anymore, with the sole exception being those who were made using MAGE systems. You know who you are. Those PCs made with the old and unwieldy Hunters Hunted system will be adapted over with no loss of power or additional XP cost.
